2. Sophomores...the PLAN test will not be moved.
Counselors felt that since so few students take it anyway, they should go ahead
with it. It's a prep for ACT, not SAT.
3. Tuesday Oct. 28th ...Wind Ensemble will play for NHS ceremony. Put it on your
calendars.

Announcements
1. If you've already brought grades up and have
teacher grade sheet, see Mr. Mobley to get your name off tutorial list.
2. Tommy, Griffin, Cameron, see Julie or Erin. Have you
fitted for your hat yet? Do it now.
3. Don't forget... Texas Future Music
Educators will be tomorrow evening, Sept. 23, 7:00, in the Round Rock HS Orchestra Room.
8 of you raised your hands. Pizza will be provided, so you're committed. See how
that works?
4. Congratulations to Megan McKennon....she received a Division 'I' rating on
her UIL twirling solo on Saturday.
5. Congratulations to Charlie Chadwell and Marshall Tidrick. Both made
All-Region jazz band
6. Open House this evening...we'll be doing periods 1-4 only. Please don't
return to the band hall for periods 5-8. It will be locked and dark.
7. Tomorrow afternoon....sectional. I'm sure you understand how much work we
have to do.
8. Initial the sandwich list on Mr. Stein's window. Make sure it's all correct.
If not, add/change it. Please check to make sure your parents are on there too,
if they ordered sandwiches for the contests.
9. Students from both CD Fulkes and Walsh will be meeting us at the game on
Thursday evening at the palace. We'll learn two easy tunes for them this week,
and they have 'Apache', so they can play along with us too.
10. Let's talk about where our show is, where it's going, and when it's going to
get there. Spinning plates on sticks.
11. We will, yes will have regular practice Friday morning. This goes hand in
hand with where we are and where we need to be.
12. Let's talk about studying on Thursday and/or Friday mornings. Feedback?
