5. Oct. 2 Walsh 7th/8th graders will meet
us at RRISD stadium to hang out
with us. That's the WW game, night before Cap City.

Looking ahead to Monday, Oct. 12th....students don't have
school, but we will most definitely have rehearsal that morning. Exact times
to be announced later. It will be early.
7. The cost for student portion of the
charter buses to BOA will be only $25. More on turn-in date for money later.
Tell your parents so they can budget.

1. Make sure you have all your stands music. We're going to go
through it and fix what's busted on that subject.
UPCOMING EVENTS
1. We play at RRISD Stadium Friday night.
a. Trucks load right after school
b. Inspection is at 5:30.
c. Parents...pickup time at band hall is at 11:30.
2. Itinerary for Saturday... Capital City .... is on the "competitions"
link.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. If you got a parking ticket for one of those spots just
outside the band hall, then gave it to Mr. Stein, stop by to visit.
2. Please encourage your parents to go to Capital City and as many of the
contests as they can. Sit close to each other, make some noise for you.
3. Next Tuesday, Oct. 7th, your deposit money is due for the cruise. Check
is NOT make out to the band. Read the "cruise" link for details.
