Announcements
1. We'll all be marching the homecoming parade.
Sousaphone players...take 4 horns, rotate the carrying of them. Meet at Duck
Pond 5:00. Short spirit circle at end of parade in swimming pool parking lot.
Drumline, also take reduced amount of instruments, rotate them.
2. We'll hand out gloves today during band. Bring $5 on Friday for when you lose
the first pair.
3. The boosters need 3 of you to help with JV concessions on Thursday instead of
march the parade. Names here....
4. Should be a great afternoon practice for winds. Be ready to go, as you always
are. Shades and water are good things.
5. Seniors, need a hand count if you're pretty darn sure you'll be going on the
senior ski trip. Will be Saturday-Tuesday, Dec. 20-23.
6. Reminder...as week from Friday and the Monday after that...Oct. 10 &
13...no school those days. Practice both days. And on Monday , Leon May, our
drill writer, will be with us for an extended practice at the RRISD Stadium
8:00-11:00. No afternoon sectionals that week.
