THANKS TO ALL OF YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF EVERYTHING DAY....AND THANKS LEADERSHIP TEAM FOR YOUR HELP ALL DAY

1. Marchathon pledge sheets are here. Ways to do this:
    a. Do NOT ask your parents for money for this. They just paid for 'Everything Day'
    b. $50 per person is your goal
    c. Our "Marchathon" is approx. 5K. Suggestion is to get a $5.00 pledge from ten of your buds/relatives
    d. This is a really EASY fundrasier, just ask people. You're only selling your hard work and dedication, not pecan pralines or pencil erasers. People WILL
contribute to this. There are 135 brass and ww folks. Mulitply times $50 and you've got $6750.
    e. Remember also the spectacular support the boosters give you, and that this is a great way to show your appreciation.
    f. Your donations will be due on Wednesday, Aug. 13th.
    g. Oh. And please don't show up that day with no pledge sheets or donations. Not acceptable
2. We'll do an equipment check right now to see who doesn't have flip folders/lyres.
3. Synth players. We need a couple. We have a possible. Any more progess?
4. Brass players....most of you have B.E.R.Ps. Please use them, leave them on the horn when possible. Don't have one? You'll need to get one by end of this week.
5. Some of you evidently thought "CHARMS" was something you didn't have to do on Saturday. Like it had something to do with...uh...charms. CHARMS is a music administration website the directors use during the course of the year to enter you in contests, build rosters, etc. If you didn't enter your information, you'll need to come do that tomorrow at noon. You'll need parents information too, particularly contact numbers.
6. About RRHS FISHCAMP....this was planned on top of the existing band, volleyball, and football practices. We're working out a plan now for you to be able to take care of both of those obligations. Freshmen, your FISHCAM schedule will be different from the non-band freshmen, and that will be announced here as soon as we get it squared away. Counselors and Associate Principals will all be aware of the changes. Students and parents....right hand/left hand communication has been an issue at RRHS for some time now. We'll begin work  for 08-09 to have an organized planning/communication system among administration, faculty, and students. It's time.
7. Uniform Crew- Bring your calendars with you and meet with Mrs. Huey Tuesday at 4:00. You're going to sign up for your shifts to help with uniform fittings the week of August 11th. It's important that you be there.
8. Freshmen....if you want to periodically check out the pictures that your historians Lauren and Devin are taking, the link is at the bottom of the home page on the right. Once the year gets under way, Mr. Huey has some amazing pictures there.
9. While we're outside painting the show, make sure you put extra sunscreen on the BACK of your legs and shoulders....you'll be facing away from the sun all morning.
