Sophomores...there is a PLAN test being given on Saturday, Oct. 25th (prep for ACT Test) Please don't sign up for this test....we may be scheduled to perform during the testing time at the Area contest. I'm working with Mrs. Kiely, RRHS Counselor, to schedule an alternate date.(UIL Calendar is supposed to be sacred) You'll be the first to know when more info becomes available.
3. Tuesday Oct. 28th ...Wind Ensemble will play for NHS ceremony. Put it on your calendars.

 Announcements

1. Today is your playoff date for part two.
2. Homecoming nominations are due next Friday, Sept. 12th. Courtney will be handling announcements etc. for that next week.
3. You'll need 2 more paint pens Monday. DON'T FORGET!  Long closer, we can't lose any time on it. All of you need to be here every day next week in the mornings for Monday, Tuesday, Wed. Please make appropriate arrangements. Gotta paint the show.
4. Senior meeting during each band class next Monday, 'A' day.

FRIDAY GAME DAY SCHEDULE

1. 6:15 Inspection. Brass/BH; WW/Orch Rm.
2. 6:30 Line Up Parade Block
3. 6:40-To stadium-let's cover how it works when we go in to stadium
4. 7:05-Pregame starts in stand.
5. 7:25-National Anthem
6. 7:30-Kickoff
7. 8:30-Approximate beginning time of halftime; Bowie first
8. 10:00-End of game; to band hall, watch show, parents take you home
9. 10:30-Pick up time for parents (PARENTS...PLEASE OBSERVER THIS TIME; DIRECTORS WAIT ON STUDENTS....IT'S ALREADY A LONG DAY!)
10. Parents need to make arrangements to meet student somewhere besides in front of the band hall. Grisham closed due to construction. Arrange a pickup spot either in front of the main entrance of high school or on band practice field
