Recurring Announcements:
1. A copy of the newsletter that went to incoming freshmen is here. It also has full schedule for audition tapes, drumline/color guard/freshman camp, and summer band dates.
2.Summer band start date is July 30. Please put it on your calendars. As with last year, you'll need to be there on that date to be in marching band. 
3. Mar. 23, 1st Friday after Spring Break, registration deadline for State Solo/Ens. $15 per soloist, $7.50 per ensemble member
4.Wind Ensemble...Tuesday afternoon, Mar. 27-rehearsal. 4:30 until whenever.We'll end the evening with a performance for parents. Parent performance is at 7:30. 
5. Seniors....after spring break, it will be time to start working on Senior Videos with the historians. Stay tuned for further details.
6. Senior scholarship applications were mailed to all seniors on March 1st. The applications are due back to Mr. Stein by 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 30th.

Current Announcements

If anybody has pictures you want in the band scrapbook. please send them to Katie Hutchinson at katiekins@austin.rr.com, or just give them to her. Not accepted after Mar. 26. You have just one week after spring break to get those to Katie.

1. Wind Ensemble... don't forget tomorrow morning we'll be rehearsing at 7:30.
2. Did all flight 'C' folks get the news? There's a change in the flight plan for 'C' flight. You now meet at the band hall with Flights 'A' & 'B' at 2:30. Leave time is 3:00 for everyone. 'C' flight, you'll ride bus #4.
3. There are some minor itinerary changes in a new improved itinerary. Look at it on the website if you care. Dictated by airlines.

5. Percussionists...your schedule for the Oak Ridge contest is here.
6.  Did you fail a class at the end of the last 6weeks? You must pass ALL...ALL...ALLLLL your classes by TODAY to be eligible for UIL Concert/Sightreading, Winter Guard, and Drumline activities the remainder of this 6-weeks.
7. Parents/studetns...if you want your own copy of the full itinerary, print it on your own to bring along. Chaps and directors will have one included in their packets.
8. W.Ens., remember that the two Fridays after break we have early rehearsal.
9. The first Friday, Mar. 23, will be at CTMS at 7:30.
10. ONE MORE TIME....you must have a picture ID to get on the plane at DFW. Don't forget it.
