Band Hall Guidelines
We’re extremely fortunate to have a good, functional band
hall. You’ll need to observe the following guidelines while in the band hall:
- No running etc. Go outside for that.
- Don't bring toys
- No girly squealing
- The band hall, (and ensemble room) except during
rehearsal, will ALWAYS have the chairs and stands stacked to
be prepared for the next rehearsal in that space. It is Concert Band’s
responsibility to rack and stack at the end of periods 3 & 7; whenever there
is a sectional, jazz band, or any other rehearsal in the morning,
those members will also set up and take down their chairs and stands.
- No food or drink in the entire 900 building.
- Tuba players will always put instruments in lockers or
on wall racks. No instruments on the floor.
- During rehearsal, please put cases back in lockers so
people can get around in the band hall.
- At all other times, put your instrument inside the
case, in the locker, with the lock locked.
- Your locker is a storage are for instruments and
books. Don’t put trash in it.
- Percussionists are responsible for moving all
instruments and equipment to and from their rehearsal area.
- Percussionists are also responsible for keeping the
percussion studio neat, everything in its place
- All electronic equipment in the band hall is off
limits to students.
-
Students who have either quit band or been
removed from band are not to be in the band hall. It's a privilege granted
to current members.
-
The guard room is to be used by guard members
and tuba players only.
-
Non-band friends are welcome in the band
hall...in the main hall only. Not in back hallways, not in guard room, not
in percussion room.
