This event is for everyone in our band program including families
There is a meal first for seniors and their families only, and then everyone comes for the desserts and awards!
SENIORS - Band Banquet meal tickets will be on sale from Monday, March 23 through Friday, April 10th-closing at 5pm. Meal tickets will be $25 each and will include catering from BJs Restaurant, drinks and desserts. This meal is for Seniors and their guests only. Seniors will receive a free meal ticket but must reserve one online.

April Dragon Band Recitals
April 13th, 14th or 15th, 5:00-8:15*
1200 Main Building Foyer area
Hour length (approx) segments of students performing for friends and families
*Students won’t be there for the full time, but will be there for about an hour to an hour and a half depending on when they’re scheduled to perform
Instrumental Choirs also perform! Students in these ensembles (sax choir, tuepha choir, etc.) may perform on multiple evenings

Attendance
If your student is well enough to attend school, they should be coming to practice and events unless they get sick in the middle of the day and are sent home by the nurse
Look ahead at the rehearsal and event schedule and plan your appointments and tutorial help around it

Attendance at rehearsals and events is mandatory unless otherwise specified
Absences due to sickness are excused with notification from a parent if the student has a fever, is vomiting or cannot otherwise get out of bed
Absences due to prolonged sickness/injury are excused with a doctor's note
Who do I email? Mr. Mobley for Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony, Ms. Benford for Symphonic Band, Ms. Bouhadana for Concert Band, Mr. Hammack for all Percussion and Mr. Mendieta for Color Guard
Absences that are not excused-birthdays, completing homework, studying, test preparation, part time job, pop concerts, parties, vacations, weekend getaways
Grades and Eligibility
Students must remain academically eligible to participate in football games and marching contest performances and all TMEA activities
Should a student become ineligible they will still practice with the group during band class and in some cases, outside of the school day
There are two types of official grade reporting - IPR (Interim Progress Report) and Report Card
We are required to go by these official methods to determine eligibility

Bocal Majority - Double Reed Camps
June 1-4 10am to 4pm LAST MINUTE FEE APPLIED May 22-24 $450 $650 Danielson Middle School (Leander ISD)
On-time sign up May 15 – late fee $25 applied May 16
Last minute fee of $50 from 8-10 days before each camp starts for commuter camps, 15-17 days before residential camps.
Camp enrollment closes completely 8 days before camp starts.
