Austin Chamber Music Summer Workshop

  • The workshop takes place at UT Austin from July 14th through July 26th and features a variety of ensemble experiences, coaching sessions, and performance opportunities designed to inspire and challenge young musicians

  • The Primary Division is a half-day camp designed for intermediate to advanced elementary students ages 7-10, with a minimum of 1 year of private instruction and the ability to read music

  • For more advanced students, our Young Artist Division provides a comprehensive chamber music experience with more intensive coaching and performance opportunities, allowing students to further develop their technical and collaborative skills.

  • We're particularly excited to offer scholarships for students who need financial assistance. With full tuition for the Young Artist Division at $1,300 per student, these scholarships are essential to ensuring that talented young musicians from all backgrounds can participate in our program. We'd love to have strong representation from RRISD at the camp this year!

  • Benefits for students include:

    • Free concert tickets to Summer Festival concerts for both students and parents

    • Masterclasses with visiting professional artists, including the Kodak Quartet (winners of our prestigious Coltman Competition)

    • Performance opportunities throughout the summer

    • Professional mentorship from accomplished musicians

    • Development of collaborative skills and musical excellence in a supportive community

Parents!

  • Advocate for Fine Arts Education Today!

  • Fine arts education is essential to a well-rounded education, yet Texas schools receive no dedicated funding for these required programs. With the 89th Texas Legislature now in session, we have a critical opportunity to change that—but we need your help!

  • At Parents for Arts Education, we are working to secure a dedicated fine arts allotment to ensure students have access to the instruments, costumes, supplies, and specialized instruction they need.

  • 📢 Here's how you can help right now:

    • ✅ Sign up at www.paetx.org – It takes just a minute!

    • ✅ Follow & share our mission on social media to spread the word.

    • ✅ Encourage parents, grandparents, and students (ages 18-118!) to join us.

    • ✅ Help us win the first year organization prize for Amplify Austin Day by donating here before March 5th!

Tubas and Euphoniums!

  • Teupha Week | June 9-12, 2025 | Cedar Ridge HS, Round Rock TX

    • Teupha Week is the ultimate Teupha experience, offering four immersive days for students to develop their musical skills, make lasting connections, and be inspired by some of the finest low brass educators in the country.

    • During Teupha Week, students will participate in a variety of ensembles, ranging from large group performances to smaller chamber ensembles.

    • Register at teuphacamp.com/teuphaweek before May 15th for early bird pricing!
