Hello Dragon Band Students, Parents and Families,

We’ve had a productive week back at school after the break!

Congratulations to our winterguards - both groups performed at contests over Spring Break and did very well!!  Keep up the great work winterguards!!!  The final competitions of the season are coming up soon!

Congratulations also to members of our trumpet section!  Ishwara Vasista, Jacob Bergeron, Austin Tutone and Christopher Hanzlik all performed at the National Trumpet Competition in Iowa over Spring Break.  The ATX trumpet ensemble earned 3rd place overall and Christopher and Ishwara both performed solos, selected from trumpet players across the country!

And finally, congratulations to senior horn player David Le who was selected for the BOA Honor Band and is performing a concert in Indianapolis tomorrow!

There are 9 weeks of school remaining and from here out we have multiple events of some sort every week!  Buckle up!
